It has been quite a while since April when we spent a couple of days at
your hotel in Cyprus but I anyhow take the opportunity to thank you for your
splendid hospitality.
The hotel per se is great but especially your staff is something special.
They seem to read your mind as long as your needs and wants are concerned.
As a senior lecturer in a leading hotel schools of the world and a former
hotel director I take the change to congratulate your management for
excellent training job that you have done.
My wife as a Finnair crew-member spends a great number of nights every
year in fine hotels around the world and she was equally impressed.
We do hope to enjoy your hotel in he future again.
Fortunately I have a possibility to be a visiting lecturer in the Higher
Hotel Institute in Nicosia almost annually.

Nicosia: Centrum Hotel: "Cozy and quaint in the heart of old Nicosia"

My experience with this property took place in: March, 2007
No longer able to tolerate the Holiday Inn after two previous stays, I decided to give the Centrum a try based on a recommendation from a fellow business traveler. The hotel is tucked away on a small street open only to pedestrians in the center of the old city. It is conveniently located, within walking distance of the Green Zone, shops and many restaurants.
Quaint and cozy with only 40 rooms, the hotel is very clean, safe, and well appointed with all the necessary modern amenities. The lobby is comfortable and relaxing. Most evenings you will find the owner there greeting customers. The room with a balcony was spacious and well lit. The bed was amazingly comfy.
The entire staff, including Mariana and Stephan were always very friendly and accomodating. After a two week stay, in many ways, it felt as if it were home.
If you are looking for a cozy place to stay in Nicosia, look no further. The Centrum is the place. We will definitely stay there again upon our return.
On a side note, do not miss Loxandra restaurant just down the road, for great meze.

i stayed at this hotel last weekend with my family as we visited Nicosia to do some christmas shopping.
The hotel is very clean with friendly staff, the beds are huge! really comfy and with lovely fluffy quilts and pillows!, there was plenty of hot water and complimentary toiletries left in the bathrooms. there was a kettle with tea/coffe making facilities which was replenished daily.
There was some noise in the night from the street below, but i just put the fan on and it drowned that out, i then slept like a baby!
The breakfast was good, you could just help yourself to anything and the croissants were lovely, there were also a few different types of cereal, boiled and scrambled eggs, cold meats and cheese as well as a toaster, selection of fresh juices and assorted teas and coffee.
There was free internet access, which was a bonus as my daughter had a science project to finish and she got lots of info from there.
All in all, great value for money and will definately be staying there when we visit again next December.
